Angels’ Attic Upscale Resale is a mission store of White’s Chapel United Methodist Church in Southlake, TX. We are a volunteer-run organization that supports charities with money, goods, and talent.
Angels’ Attic was founded in 2006 by a small group of volunteers whose eyes had been opened to the poverty of children in Costa Rica. Since then, Angels’ Attic has blossomed into a thriving, upscale resale shop that offers a wide selection of clothing, furniture, and housewares for shoppers looking for a bargain or a treasure.
As a retail outlet, Angels’ Attic Upscale Resale utilizes volunteers to welcome customers and assist with their clothing, household and furniture needs which are affordably priced to provide quality merchandise for all.
At Angels Too, volunteers sort, clean and price items to be displayed at Angels’ Attic. Angels Too is also our half off store featuring electronics, and sporting goods. As a resource facility, clothing, and household items are distributed locally and abroad to those in need.
Here is a wonderful article written in 2008 about the humble beginnings of Angels’ Attic back in 2003. We opened our doors in May 2006 and have grown to our present size because of our generous donors, our loyal customers and our dedicated, hard-working volunteers. Congratulations to Angels’ Attic on 10 blessed years. Together we make a difference.
At Angels’ Attic we stand on the shoulders of volunteers who came before us with the humble beginnings of neighborhood garage sales and a small store in 2006 to our present store and donation center. They served this ministry with hard work, financial contributions, and a dedicated belief in the mission of helping others. Here are some pictures from the early store when we had a separate warehouse. Thank you to these early volunteers, many of whom still work here regularly. We share precious memories of those who are no longer with us. Happy 10th Anniversary to these and all of our Attic Angels.
